The trail treks through scenic woodlands in an area undergoing rapid residential development. A paved spur in Joplin along Turkey Creek connects the trail to neighborhoods along N. St. Louis Avenue and N. Florida Avenue.
Wooded, lots of steep hills, rocks and tree roots. Steep hills and deep hollows. Multi use trail both equestrian and mt. bikes. Directions: two miles south east of Neosho. Take hiway 60 east to hiway HH. Turn south for one quarter mile. Turn right on hiway TT, go south for one mile.
Piney Creek Trail is a 4.3 mile loop trail located near Viburnum, Missouri. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking. Horses are also able to use this trail. The trail is not marked, but it is not hard to follow.
Rock-n-Roll is a 0.8 mile trail located at Blowing Springs in Bella Vista, Arkansas. The trail is now known as the South Lower Trail, part of the Blowing Springs Trails and offers a number of activity options.
Tanyard Creek Nature Trail is approximately 2 miles long and located near Bella Vista, Arkansas. It features a waterfall and many identifying markers. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for nature trips & walking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This 1.5 mile out and 1.5 back trail is part asphalt part crushed gravel, and crosses Center Creek via a wooden bridge. This rail-to-trail project has three trailheads, including two in the Briarbrook subdivision.
The Watco Trail, named for the short-line railroad operator headquartered in Pittsburg, stretches diagonally through the Kansas city just west of downtown. The paved trail has 23 road crossings, so trail users should exercise caution. A landscaped trailhead with benches at its northern end provides a pleasant place to relax before or after a trek on the trail.
