Candy Run Virtual Challenge - Albuquerque

CANDY RUN 5K, 10K, 15K, HALF MARATHON CHALLENGE

Jumping in the time machine we went back to a day where video games were nonexistent and board games were a nightly family favorite.  One game comes to mind as one that stood out as a favorite, Candyland!  Back to the present day we at The Virtual Run Challenge have re-imagined this classic board game into the future and have come up with the Candy Run Challenge!

This retro twist of a classic is a “sweet” way for you to get the whole family motivated to get active.  The adventure takes you on a wonderful journey, conquering mile after mile with some special 5k, 10, 15k milestones to accomplish along the way, until you eventually reach the Candy Castle and a sweet half marathon distance to claim your throne as Candy Run Royalty.

We will be donating a portion of each paid registration to Together We Rise’s Birthday Box Project. These donations will help foster kids celebrate their special day with birthday boxes that include candy, party supplies, and gift cards.

HOW TO COMPLETE:

1. Join the challenge! You can register as standard or you can also upgrade your registration and you’ll get the Candy Run Challenge official t-shirt, the super cool commemorative medal to brag to your friends and show off your challenge accomplishment. (There are 3 different shirts to represent 3 different game piece participants.  Candy King, Candy Princess, and Gingerbreadman)
2. Your goal is to take on the challenge completing the various distances along your path to the Candy Castle. (Challenge Instructions Provided)
3. Challenge your friends, family, even co-workers to compete against! Remember to share your adventure by tagging @virtualrunchallenge and #CandyRunChallenge
4. Nobody to challenge you?  Join the Official Candy Run Challenge Facebook Group or Strava Group and connect with others around the world.
