A little harder than most of the trails in the park, it is well worth the effort. Most of the 4 mile loop is along the water. Be prepared for a lot of steep inclines and declines.

The unique estuarine enviornment is found at this 2,550 acre park serves as a nursery for the marine life throught the Chesapeake Bay. Taskinas Creek and the surrounding marsh within the park are designated as a Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve System in Virginia
