The Arch Rock Trail is 9 mile out and back near Point Reyes Station. The Arch Rock Trail is the Bear Creek trail and Coastal trail combined. The trail is well marked and easily navigated. The trail is heavily used and has many alternative routes. It can be damp and muddy in the winter.
Bear Valley Trail to Wildcat Camp and Alamere Falls is a 7 mile point-to-point trail located near Point Reyes Station, California that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Horses are also able to use this trail.
Heading south from Bear Valley to Alamere Falls is a more secluded options since most of the crowds go north from Palomarin. Wildcat Camp is a sweet spot for camping if you can get a spot outside of the stormy season.
Cross Marin Trail is a 3.5 mile point-to-point trail located near Point Reyes Station, California. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, road biking, trail running & walking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
12 Mile loop hike leaving Bear Valley visitor center and starting out with a difficult climb up Mt. Wittenberg trail, a hike along Sky Trail to Coat Trail then to Arch Rock and returning via Bear Valley Trail.
