This is a good little nature trail. The trail runs through the woods almost entirely. There is a view of the lake for part of the trail and the rest is in the trees with a little section of nice rock formations. there is a spillway at the north side (water will need to be high for it to be running).
The Meadow Valley Trail is one of the more recent additions to Fayetteville’s extensive trail network, and was the direct result of strong local demand for a trail connection from downtown to the neighborhoods west of Interstate 540. The pathway branches off from the Scull Creek Trail in the east and runs for more than 2 miles west through verdant farmland.
The Mud Creek Trail's connection with the Scull Creek Trail, which itself connects to the Frisco Trail in downtown Fayetteville, provides a continuous network of 7.6 miles of trail to the residents of the city.
The 12-foot wide paved surface of the Scull Creek Trail can accommodate a high number of users ranging from alternative transportation commuters to those participating in a variety of recreational activities.
