Located in the Lumpy Ridge area of Rocky Mountain National Park, this hike to a scenic waterfall is well graded and relatively easy. The trail is located 3.05 miles from the Cow Creek TH, and there is access to other nearby trails in the first portion of the hike, as well as to backcountry camp site
East Longs Peak Trail is a 8 mile out and back trail located near Estes Park, Colorado that features a river and is only recommended for very experienced outdoorsmen. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
This beautiful hike climbs through thick forest and tops out at the crater, just above treeline. It is illegal to climb to the actual peak because it is a wildlife protection area. But the hike to the crater offers spectacular views of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Never Summer Wilderness.
