If you love Festivals Acadiens et Créoles as much as we do then you will love the Tour des Atakapas race! Celebrating our Cajun & Creole heritage is important to maintaining our culture in south Louisiana.  The run is a joint coordinated project between TRAIL and Fesival Acadiens et Creoles.  The run is an inauguration of the new sections of the Atakapa-Ishak Trail that include sections that travel along the Vemilion River and Bayou Tortue (behind Lafayette Regional Airport).  Post race party is in Girard Park with Festivals Acadiens et Créoles

RACE DAY: Saturday, Oct. 15th, 2016

Where: Start/Finish line & day of registration/check in at Geaux Run (906 Harding St. Lafayette, LA 337-706-8763).

Where: Post run party at Pavillion in Girard Park (start and finish) with Festivals Acadiens et Créoles

Time: Packet pickup begins at 6:30am Race beings at 7:00am

Route options: 3 mi, 5 mi, & 7 miles

Price: $35 until 4/30 |  $45 until 6/30 |  $50 until 9/15 | $60 until close of registration| $65 Day of!

TRAIL is a non-profit organization dedicated to building and maintaining parks, hiking trails, bike trails and other recreational infrastructure.
