501 Running Club is a diverse group of committed, local endurance runners who train year-round – through the crazy Michigan weather – for a wide range of races from local 5k’s to trail ultras. What makes 501 special is the camaraderie among all types of runners that has resulted in many lasting friendships formed over the years. Our goal is to promote the sport of endurance running in a supportive environment that celebrates both the individual achievements and collective success as a team. Our home base is Southeast Michigan with regular distance runs at Kensington Metropark and mid week speed work outs in the Northville area.
If you are looking for a supportive, collaborative, and challenging environment to take your running to the next level, or simply looking to find like-minded runners to run with, join the 501 Running Club!
SHE Runs This Town is an official nation-wide running club for women and this is its chapter for the Ann Arbor, MI area.
While the very first group was created by and for Moms (Moms RUN This Town/MRTT), we wanted to be sure to encompass all women. So whether you are a Mom, a fur-mom, or just have a Mom, and you like to run, JOIN US!
Our hope is that we can provide a fun club for women to get together, run/walk/jog and socialize. We hope to provide an online community built of women runners/walkers who will help answer running questions, encourage each other, train with each other and share their personal running experiences.
ANY distance/pace levels are welcome!
Whether you are a walker hoping to start training for your first 5k or an experienced runner training for a marathon – we would love to have you as part of our community.
