Situated in downtown Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the asphalt trail runs through a park setting on the former Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad close to the Beaver River and ending near the rugby fields at the Geneva College Campus.
Rails to Trails is a 20 mile out and back trail located near Freeport, Pennsylvania that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, mountain biking, trail running & walking and is accessible year-round.
The Three Rivers Heritage Trail evolved from five separate trails and today comprises several unique sections. Most of these segments are riverfront trails along both banks of the three rivers that form Pittsburgh’s famous point: the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio.
Westmoreland Heritage Trail is a paved / linestone trail, Currently, it is 8.7 miles long from Delmont to Saltsburg where it connects with the West Penn trail. The trail just finished Phase 2 with plans for it to extend to Trafford, PA.
