Rails to trials paved tract running N-S from Bowling Green to New Baltimore. Wide, flat, well maintained trial running mostly through open agricultural land. Lightly used, especially weekdays. Great trial for groups of bikers or families.
Van Buren State Park offers several miles of multi-use trials. There is a printable map of the trial system available on the OH State Park website. The trials are well marked and maintained. Wildlife is abundant and the trial along the south shore offers nice lake views.
Rails to trails mixed use trial. Approx. 9 miles of paved trail. Eastern half is more heavily use as it passes thru several neighborhoods. Western half is primarily use by bikers. West half runs thru Oak Opening Metropark and is primarily forest. Wide, level and well-maintained trail. Very easy.
