About This Activity

The Yarnell Fire District Annual Memorial Run takes place on the top of scenic Yarnell Hill, in a subdivision of the community known as Glen Ilah. Participants will be able to see the rebuilding efforts that have taken place since the Yarnell Hill Fire of June 2013. The event memorializes the loss of 19 brave men from the Granite Mountain Hot Shot Crew from Prescott, AZ, who gave all to protect the lives and property of local residents.

The best way to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their lives is to make the community flourish, rebuild and revive economically. We hope you'll visit our shops, eateries and walk around town after the Memorial Run. Proceeds will benefit the Yarnell Fire District and two other organizations (to be announced).
