Mary Meyer Life Fitness hosts' this incredible event. Tri it once...or tri it twice! We've got just the events to get you pumped to stand in your power this summer!
Cottage Lake is a cozy, warmer-than-most lake with just enough participants but not too many. Get into the rhythm of triathloning with a short distance, user-friendly race.
Cottage Lake Course Description:
The .25 mile swim in Cottage Lake Park is a triangular course (counter clock-wise). Cottage Lake temperatures are expected to be around 65-68 degrees in June and September and wetsuits are allowed. Once off the beach, the walk to transition is on grass.
The 4.5 mile loop for the Bike course takes you through residential areas circumnavigating the lake, and you get to enjoy this twice.
For the 1.6 mile Run, you get to traverse through the Park, exiting and following Avondale Road entering a peaceful residential area, returning to the serene trail in the park and finishing the course.
Be sure to check out the Beat Your Time (Join us for the first Tri in June and then come back to beat your time at the second tri in Sept.
The Elite Category goes through two circuits! Swim/bike/run/swim/bike/run, cut off time 2 hours 10 minutes. If this is your first tri do not enter elite.
KIDS Cottage Lake Course Description:
Your child will enjoy this quick 25 yard swim in Cottage Lake and then get on a bike (.65 miles) to ride the paved trail within the park. The run (240 yrds) is mainly around the transition, so you will be able to watch your child complete this course.
