About This Activity

The SWC YMCA’s 3.1 mile run/walk will begin at Witter Field, home of the Blossom Fest, and take participants along the Wisconsin River. They will then cross two bridges through the downtown area and back to the finish line at Witter Field. This race is a celebration of our beautiful community and the downtown area of Wisconsin Rapids.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the SWC YMCA’s chronic disease programs; LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and Diabetes Prevention. Come out and join us to help support your local Cancer Survivors and the prevention of Diabetes in our community!!

Event details and schedule

  • Pre packet pick up:  Friday June 17th - Witter Field - 5:30-7:00pm
  • Day Of packet pick up:  Saturday June 18th - Witter Field - 7:00-8:00am
  • Chip Timing will be provided
  • Prizes Awarded to: Top 3 overall male & Female, Top 3 male and female age categories of 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
  • No Refund of entry fees if event is cancelled due to weather or other adverse conditions
  • Parking will be available at Witter Field along with the Blossom Fest Parking Areas.
  • Be Sure Waivers are SIGNED!!!...Electronically or Paper copy
  • Bring ID
  • Wear clothing and shoes that will be comfortable to walk or run
  • Kids Obstacle Run will generally be completed around the Witter Field area with Fun Obstacles to cross during the second half of the race.
  • All RACERS, kids or adults, WILL recieve a T-Shirt IF they PREREGISTER BY JUNE 3rd.  Any Registrations AFTER June 3rd are NOT gauranteed a T-Shirt
  • HEALTHY KIDS DAY:  FREE family event for kids with fun and unique activities that will keep their bodies and minds active... FRIDAY JUNE 17th at Witter Field from 5:30-7:00pm
