About Circle of Care:

Circle of Care for Families of Children with Cancer is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, volunteer-driven organization that supports children with cancer and their families during treatment. Our unique combination of programs addresses the non-medical needs of children with cancer. Circle of Care was founded in 2004 by three women whose own children battled cancer. The program has grown steadily over the past 10  years, earning the trust and respect of the medical community, corporations, foundations and families of children with cancer.  Circle of Care has formed enduring partnerships with the Connecticut area’s only pediatric oncology lefts, including Yale New Haven Hospital’s Smilow Cancer Center, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Maria Ferrari Children’s Hospital. To-date, Circle of Care has reached over 1,640 families, delivering 1,700 Bags of Love, transforming 73 rooms through the Art from the Heart program and provided more than $650,000 in direct financial support – more money than any other pediatric cancer organization in Connecticut. Circle of Care, which has earned the GuideStar Gold certification for its transparency and impact, prides itself on running one of the most efficient and effective pediatric cancer support organizations in Connecticut.
