About This Activity

ZOMBIE 5K:  Last Plane From Laurel...Can You Make It?

You're in the midst of a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!

Will you stay home and take shelter or risk escape?

Airports are usually not a safe place during a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE due to large open areas, many hiding places, and they are difficult to secure.  The UNDEAD could be lurking undetected waiting to make a meal out of you.

Do you have what it takes to make it to the last plane out of Wilmington?

Race Details:

The ZOMBIE 5K RUN is a two lap 3.1 mile FUN RUN.  The course will wind its way around the Laurel Oaks Career Campus. Participants will find themselves running on concrete, grass and through buildings all while trying to evade the lurking zombies.  Zombie characters are played by students/volunteers whos makeup/dress will be done by the Laurel Oaks Cosmetology and Digital Arts and Design programs.  Throughout your run you will see emergency vehicles, cars, trucks, and planes from the Laurel Oaks Auto and Aviation programs, along with other various props made by all the other great programs found at Laurel Oaks Career Campus.
