About This Activity
The Rugged Runner Challenge (RRC) is a 4-mile obstacle race that will be held on Sunday, 4/26/2015 at Dreher Park in WPB. We have over 20 custom-designed challenges!! Be prepared to have fun and get wet and dirty.
Race or participate? It's up to you! Teamwork and fun encouraged! Can't do an obstacle? How about 20 bur-pees? It's your event....do it your way!
Family Fun! The event includes a 2-mile race for kids ages 6 - 15.
Online registration closes April 20, 2015.
Registration will be available at packet pick-up. Location TBD. Cash or Check only.
Individual registration at event will be $65.00 for adults and $35 for kids. CASH or Check only. No group registrations on Race Day.

> FOR TEAMS OF 5 - 9 Participants:
Select a TEAM CAPTAIN to register first. Register 5 participants and each registrant receives $5 off the registration fee. After you begin the registration process as an INDIVIDUAL, you will get to a question that asks you if you would like to create or join a team. The TEAM CAPTAIN must be the first to register for the event and create the team name. Then others can join that team by doing a team search during the Individual registration process. Follow the prompts to create or join your team. The discount will be applied and appear at check-out. Each person can register himself or herself for this category after the Team Captain has set up the team.
>FOR TEAMS OF 10 particpants:
Register 10 participants and recieve $100 off (that's $10 off current price for each participant on a team of 10). For this group discount, you must choose the "Group of 10" category as your registration category and have a total of 10 adults. Choose a Team Captain to enter all of the information. Be sure you have each person's name, email, phone number, birthdate, and t-shirt size before you begin the process. Individuals cannot register themselves for this group price.

TIME WAVE SELECTION
Participants will be asked to sign-up for time waves.
Waves for the 4-mile race will be held every 5 minutes beginning at 7:00 AM. We ask that only those elite athletes wishing to race the event competitively for time sign-up for the first 2 waves.
The kids race will begin at 9:30 AM with 2 waves 5 minutes apart.
Come out and participate in Palm Beach County's only Obstacle Event that's not only challenging but also family friendly -- no barbed wire or razor-sharp objects!
Awards for 1st-3rd in each adult category and overall for adult and kids race.

So far we have a great ices truck from Tikiz. Other food and beverages would be awesome!
Event details and schedule
Be sure to arrive 40-45 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.
Timing devices will be picked up the day of the race at the registration tables and will need to be affixed that day.
Be prepared to get sandy, dirty and wet while you're having fun challenging yourself.
Signature event: Slippy slide at the end for more fun to the finish!
Event takes place rain or shine.
Parking volunteers will be on-hand to help you get your car parked. If you are coming in a group, carpooling saves time, energy and space and is encouraged and appreciated.
Please follow the specified course while out on the run.
Race results will be for overall times; therefore the final results will not be posted until all waves are finished.
You must be present to pick-up your award, so stick around and have some fun for the morning!
We know that a cold one may sound great after a great run, but alcohol must be consumed under a pavilion, according to standard City of West Palm Beach regulations. Please help us keep the event in the park next year by following their regs.
Because we have Teams and a Corporate Challenge, we have allowed site visitors to search for people who have registered for this event. Search results include a participant's name, team name (if applicable), bib number, age, gender, city, state, country, and race category. You can choose NOT to be included in this search when you register. Active.com does not include minors in the search (no action required).
