Racers, arrive by 8:15 a.m. this Saturday the 13th! We will have a staggered
start time beginning with the advanced mudders.
Also, bring your ID if you want a tasty beverage at the conclusion of the race.
EVENT DAY REGISTRATION WILL START AT 7:00 AM AND CONCLUDE AT 8:15 AM SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH. Saturday Registration is $40.00 per/person
WE CANNOT GUARENTEE A T-SHIRT TO SATURDAY REGISTRANTS.
The Building Bridges Mud Run is Haywood County's first mudtastic mud run! Nestled in the mountains of beautiful Waynesville, NC. This course is designed to accommodate the advanced, moderate and beginner mud runner. Our objective is quite simple, provide a challenging mud-filled obstacle course for all to enjoy!
Our course is about 3.5 miles long and will involve traversing creeks, hills, multiple mud pits, various obstacles, and a slippery surprise for the finish. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest team in each category and fastest individual. Time will be monitored by Right on Time Productions. Each team will have a single timing chip to monitor pace. These times will be available via Right on Time Production's website following the race and also posted at the course.
The Building Bridges Mud Run will be providing proceeds to the Canton Lions Club and Lions Club International. The mission of Canton Lions Club and Lions Club International is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs (lionsclubs.org).

Building Bridges Mud Run will have a 9:00 a.m. staggered start time, beginning with the advanced Mudders and concluding with our beginners.
The Building Bridges Mud Run is taking place September 13, 2014 starting at the Waynesville Recreation Center. The nearly 3.5 miles course traverses picturesque creeks, provides 15+ obstacles, lots and lots of mud and a few surprises. Obstacles will be placed throughout the approximately 3.5 mile course. Each obstacle will be monitored to verify completion, if at any time an obstacle is not completed, a time penalty will be assessed.
WAIVER AND PARKING INFORMATION
As we approach September 13, there will be much more information provided in regards to parking and arrival time. It is imperative each member of the team has signed the provided waiver. A mud run can be strenuous and tasking on the body, if you have any reservations in regards to your health, stay away! These hills will not be your friend, I promise. We will be providing wrist bands for those participants over the age of 21. It is our hope to have a designated area for our food and beverage vendors. No outside alcohol will be permitted on the recreation grounds.
THINGS TO PONDER
What should I wear? Spandex, spandex and more spandex! Don't forget your shoes, old pants, and as little cotton as possible. We cannot stress enough to bring a change of clothing, large towel and trash bag for the muddy clothing and ride home. SHOWERS will be provided on site.
