And remember... you can jump in the race at any time and run for a mile or 10. It's your choice! Just come out and support this worthy cause.
All benefits will be donated to CASA of South Central Missouri. The National CASA program was founded in 1977 by Judge David Soukup of Seattle. Court cases involving abuse and neglect include many “players,” including the attorneys for any parent or guardian involved, the Guardian ad Litem, Children’s Division/Division of Social Services, etc. Judge Soukup was concerned that he would not make a sound decision regarding the child’s well-being and permanency because of the multiple streams of information. The result was a trained citizen who could volunteer and advocate on behalf of one child. We now call these individuals Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). For more information on CASA, log onto https://www.casascmo.org/
With two fully stocked aid stations and a flat, fast course, this is a golden opportunity to experience ultra racing at it's best. At the RACING FOR DAYLIGHT ULTRA, we will be running simply for the 'love of running" and to support an amazing cause that benefits so many children. Won't you join us? And while the race is free, donations are suggested and highly appreciated. You can give at https://www.casascmo.org/giving/ or when registering. Thank you in advance for your support!!!
Also, don't forget to purchase your one-of-a-kind race shirt as a souvenir that will let you proudly display your achievement!!!
