The McKaig Nature Center will be hosting its annual 5k Trail Run and Monkey Rock Miler on Oct 6th, 2019.
The race will begin at the Old Roberts Schoolhouse as runners separate through the grass fields before entering the beautiful trails of the nature left. Once inside, racers will experience a challenging yet scenic course that runs through streams, up rocky elevations, through grassy meadows and over bridges. Find out firsthand why this has been deemed one of the most unique and challenging 5Ks in the region. The numbers have grown each year since it's inception in 2016 and this year it will be limited to 150 racers, so don't hesitate!

Walkers will enjoy an easy, scenic journey to Monkey Rock to ring the cast iron bell and then return to the festival area for a morning of fun.
Kids race thru the fields in the quarter-mile kids course for free!
Check-in will be in the Roberts Elementary School parking area beginning at 7:45 a.m. at 889 Croton Road, Wayne Pa 19087. Street parking available for overflow.
Award presentations will be made in the festival area behind Old Roberts Schoolhouse where there will be music and complementary post-race food & drinks for participants.
