Santa Run Waukesha 2014

Event Date

Sun, Dec 7, 2014

Waukesha, WI

About This Activity

For the past 5 years, historic downtown Waukesha has hosted the Santa Run 5k.  Each year, proceeds from the run benefit one nonprofit in the community.  For this 6th year of the Santa Run/Walk, proceeds will benefit a nonprofit widely involved in helping Waukesha County, Interfaith Senior Programs, Inc. Interfaith offers a wide variety of service and volunteer opportunities which help seniors and adults with disabilities stay active and engaged in the community.  Volunteers of all ages can help seniors stay independent by driving them to doctor appointments and grocery stores, participating in non-medical respite care and friendly visiting, using their energy and skills for seasonal yard clean up and more.  Seniors and adults with disabilities can feel a sense of purpose while volunteering with children in the Waukesha School District as tutors, pen pals, and demonstrators at intergenerational Folk Art Fairs.  Thank you for supporting Interfaith Senior Programs, Inc. with 2014's Waukesha Santa Run/Walk!
