About This Activity

The annual Emory Beacon of Light Walk for the Homeless takes place in the neighborhood Brightwood neighborhood during a lovely fall afternoon.  The walk for the homeless benefits the men, women and families that rely on the Emory Beacon of Light for services including the food pantry, transitional housing program, and several other programs.

A Community Outreach Organization of Washington, DC Along the Georgia Avenue Corridor and beyond, the Emory Beacon of Light (EBOL) seeks to bring self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life to a diverse multicultural community.  EBOL collaborates with the community and its partners to provide Community Services, Small Business Development and Growth Assistance for Community/Neighborhood Development Support.
