About This Activity


Thank you for joining Team Racing for Veterans (Team R4V) for the 2014 Marine Corps Marathon. In 2013, Team R4V’s MCM Team raised over $25,000 for our wounded veterans. We hope that you will join our team in 2014 and help us reach our goal of $50,000 dollars.

 Please note that this is the registration page for the Team R4V Charity Team at the Marine Corps Marathon. Your $50 registration fee includes the team benefits found below, but does not include your entry into the MCM. By signing up here you are committing to meet the minimum fundraising requirement found below.

  • Everyone joining Team R4V’s MCM team will pay a $50 registration fee.
  • Each category will have a specific fundraising commitment. Please see below for minimum fundraising requirements for each category.
  • Once the fundraising commitment has been met on your Crowdrise fundraising page, you will receive a code and instructions from the Race Coordinator with directions to register for the MCM.
  • All registration fees for race entry will be paid by the event participant/runner directly to the Marine Corps Marathon.

  • Team R4V Pasta Dinner, Saturday, October 25, 2014 at a TBD location in Arlington, VA. Join other runners and our Team R4V veteran athletes for an evening of great food and camaraderie. Athletes are responsible for paying for their own dinner
  • Post-race celebration with teammates, family and supporters of Team R4V
  • The heartfelt thanks of the injured Marines, Sailors, Airmen and Soldiers you will be supporting!


Marine Corps Marathon Entries

  • Team R4V Marine Corps Marathon participants must agree to meet the $500 minimum fundraising requirement by the July 25, 2014 deadline.
  • You will receive a code to register with the Marine Corps Marathon, once you have met the minimum fundraising requirement.
  • Registrant must pay all registration fees directly to the MCM.

  • Registering in this category does not include an entry for the MCM
  • Fundraiser Only registrants must agree to meet the $100 minimum fundraising requirement by the September 15th deadline.

Your Personal Fundraising Page and Information

  • Upon registration, an email with directions on how to create your personal donation web page will be emailed to you within 48 hours.
  • You will be able to customize your page with a photo and text, and access it online from any computer.
  • The online contribution collection process is simple and completely secure, accepting credit and debit cards. Donors will automatically receive an immediate email confirmation and tax receipt.
  • The funds collected on your donation web page will go directly to the Team R4V’s mission of supporting our wounded veterans and their families through sport.
