1Mile @ 5K Race start @10:00 a.m.
Registration: T-Shirts are only GUARNTEED if registered before Wednesday, August 14th, 2019. Online and pick up registration opens on Monday, June 3rd, 2019 @10:00 a.m. and ends on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 @4:00 p.m. You can register online @runsignup.com. Or you can pick up registration forms at the Warden City Hall (121 S. Main St. Warden, WA) or at the Warden School District (101 W. Beck Way, Warden, WA). Please return registration forms to the Warden City Hall before Wednesday, August 14th to be GUARANTEED a T-Shirt. Make checks to: PAWS. Same day registration will also be available after 9:00 a.m.
General Information: Parking is available at the Warden Elementary School (101 W. Beck Way, Warden). This is a Fun Run event that isn’t chip timed. There will be a displayed clock by the FINISH LINE for those competitive and top finishers. Volunteers will be using timed clickers at the finish line to provide accurate times. Make certain your bib number is FORWARD FACING and VISIBLE (on the outside of your clothes), pinned at waist level. For those 1st Top Finishers, you will need to provide your RACE BIB number at the FINISH LINE to be placed in your AGE GROUP or TEAM category. The 1st Top Male and Female Age Group Finishers for the 1Mile and 5K race will be recognized: 0-9, 10-17, 18-29, 30-49, 50+, the Best Themed Team (group of 4) will also be recognized for the 1Mile and 5K race.
Race Bib Number Pick Up: You can pick up your race bib number from the Warden City Hall on Friday, August 30th between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you do not pick up your bib number prior to the race, you can pick up your race bib number on race day @ the Warden Elementary School beginning at 9:00 a.m. If you registered before August 14th, 2019 you will be given your T-shirt when picking up your race bib number. If you are a walker, or are starting with a stroller, please start at the back. Also, children either need to be walking or in a stroller, they cannot be on a bike or a scooter. If you are participating with a child in a stroller, a waiver/release needs to be completed for your child. Anyone who is on the course MUST complete a waiver/release.
After Party, Awards Ceremony and Drawing Giveaways: Water and snacks will be provided for all race finishers at the FINISH LINE. There will be food after the race to purchase for all participants and community members. The AWARDS CEREMONY for the 1st TOP FINISHERS will be announced at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Warden Elementary School. Race participant names will also be drawn for prize drawing giveaways.
