About This Activity

The Race Thru The Redwoods starts and finishes at Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton, California.  The majority of the 10K race occurs under the majestic redwoods of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park.  The Felton Business and Community Association and many local volunteers help manage and administer the race.

We are very excited to bring this race back this year; with all that has gone on over this year and last, it is nice to do something that brings back fond memories and reminds us how lucky we are to be able to race, run, walk or jog in such a lovely place. My wife and I actually fell in love under these trees at this race back in 2013.

The race is open to anyone: runners, walkers, skippers, jumpers, saunters, and amblers (recognizing our local Zombie population).

The 10k will take place on August 15th at 8:30 am.  Before the 10k, we will start the Kids 1 Miler at 8 am.  After the race, we are also delighted to bring back the PANCAKE breakfast sponsored by the Zayante Fire Department. Pancake Breakfast is included in your race fee. Non-participants can still enjoy late brunch for a $10.00 fee.

If you like to share a picture or video of your run/walk with us.  We will put together an album of all race pictures and share it via the RttRW website.

This year we will return to a more traditional course with all the features that make the RttRW a local favorite and destination race.
