Virtual 5K Training Program
About This Activity
Join us for an 8-week virtual training program that will help you cross the finish line of your very own 5K! Do this on YOUR time and train when it's convenient for YOU!

How does the program work?
With registration, you'll receive a detailed written training program and access to our private Facebook page, which will serve as your virtual training space and support group. Sharing your personal experience and hearing the struggles and successes of fellow program participants are instrumental in keeping you motivated and on target to reach your goal.
What is the time requirement? You will be given three walk/run workouts per week and encouraged to work in cross-training when you can. Walk/run workouts take no more than 40 minutes.
Training begins Monday, September 4th, 2017 and runs 8 consecutive weeks.
Workouts will be posted weekly and designed for individuals with limited to no running experience. In addition, daily Facebook support will include wellness-related information, nutrition tips and motivational posts, along with unlimited question/answer opportunities.
You'll also get a fancy custom Jersey Women Strong technical t-shirt!
At the end of the 8 week program, you will map out your own 5K route via MapMyRun (we'll show you how). You'll run the route, upload it to the page, and be awarded an awesome finisher's medal mailed right to your door!
