About This Activity
The fun festive spirit of The Hustle, a 1 mile run/walk, 5k, and 10k attracts man woman and child. Serious and nonserious runners are encouraged to attend and participate! The energizing atmosphere, crushed limestone trail, ideal running conditions, crowds of cheering spectators and a classic T-shirt make this THE RACE to attend.
All participants will receive a classic HUSTLE t-shirt. The top three males and top three females in the 10k and 5k will receive awards.
Packet pick-up is Thursday, October 16 from 6-7pm at Valparaiso Elementary or Saturday, October 18 from 8-9am at the North Oak Creek Bridge.
Late registrations will be accepted the day of the race from 8-9am. This does not include a t-shirt. Therefore, early registration is highly encouraged!
In addition, a pancake feed will be held from 9am-11am at Buresh Hall located just one block east of the finish line! Prizes will be awarded at Buresh Hall, as well as other drawings and giveaways! You must be present to win!
Event details and schedule
10K and 5K runs will begin at 9am
1 mile fun run/walk will begin at 9:10am
Parking is available at the event site just north of the trailhead; additional parking will be available along 2nd Street.
Runners please plan on arriving at 8am to pick up packets if you were unable to pick-up Thursday, October 16.
The trail is a scenic crushed limestone trail that meanders through the beautiful countryside of Saunders County. The trail is wide and partially shaded. The trail will be marked at the turnaround points for each individaul race .5, 2.5k and 5k.
