About This Activity
Whether your child is currently running or wants to have a fun introduction to running, the EXMI coaches will create a training program for all ability levels. Our #1 Goal is that everyone has a FUN, POSITIVE experience to running
Join EXMI as we offer an introductory running program for youth ages 5 to 13. This one day a week program incorporates drills, running games and proper running form, all under the supervision of a RRCA Certified Running Coach, Sue Brown-Nickerson.
All participants will receive coaching, entry into 1 Mile Challenge (Thursday, July 14th), commemorative race shirt and water bottle.
$50/camper – Limited to 75 campers
WEEK 1-JUNE 16TH: Honor thy Father with Hoka OneOne
WEEK 2-JUNE 23RD: Watermelon Run/Walk with Asics
WEEK 3-JUNE 30TH: Ice Cream, You Scream! With Altra
WEEK 4-JULY 7TH: Splish! Splash! Popsicle Pool Party with Saucony
WEEK 5-JULY 14TH: EXMI 1 Mile Challenge Celebration Party
Parents are invited to share in the Seven Weeks of Summer Fun Run/Walk Series as well. As you child participates in the 1 Mile Training Program (which is supervised by adult coaches and assistants), parents can join in the "FREE" 3 Mile Fun Run/Walk and meet back at Extra Mile for a post run celebration.
The program will be held on Thursdays at 6 p.m. for 5 weeks starting and ending at the Extra Mile Fitness Company, 1330 E Lincolnway, Valparaiso.
