About This Activity

Welcome to the First MMRF 5K – Run for Multiple Myeloma!!!  The 3.1-mile course starts at the north end of the Main Quad and takes you south around the South Bell Tower, looping around the Morrow Plots before finishing the final stretch back on the Main Quad.  This race is perfect for kids, beginners, advanced runners, and especially families.

All proceeds for this event go directly toward advancing cancer research for Multiple Myeloma, a bone marrow cancer.  I will be racing an IRONMAN event in July to raise awareness for this disease; you can do your part by participating and donating toward this great cause.

This race is great because it will kick off the running season and allow those who have been training all winter to gauge their progress.  This will be a useful stepping-stone toward the Illinois Marathon and other races throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

You can visit my personal page to learn more.  My goal is to raise $5,000.

Hope to see you at the race!
