About This Activity
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Blue Ribbon Glow Run is to raise child abuse awareness. DADE FIRST-Family Connection, Dade County Library, and Dade Division of Family and Children's Services want to help families make a big difference year-round through small acts that help protect children, strengthen families, promote traits that help protect families and, ultimately, prevent the abuse and neglect of children.
The Blue Ribbon Glow Run will be a completely FREE Event and people of all ages and families are encouraged to attend. This is a 1 Mile Run/Walk/Crawl.
The run will take place on the track around the Dade County High School football field. We will have Glow in the Dark shirts in desired sizes if preregistered. You can register online here, or at the Dade County Library. Registration the day of starts at 8:00 PM and the 1 MILE RACE starts at 9:00 PM. The event and shirts are totally free. Those who already preregistered by March 31st will receive a free Blue Ribbon Glow Run Glow-in-the-Dark shirt the night of the event. For those of you who missed the pre-registration sign-up, you can still sign-up the night of the event and may be able to get left over shirts. In order to receive your free shirt you must be at the registration table by 8:45 PM. Those who come after may not receive the size shirt they ordered.
Make sure and dress prepared to Glow-in-the-Dark!!

**Make sure you complete your registration until you see the "Congratulations" banner and your confirmation codes. You will need the printed confirmation to pick up your shirts.
**In order to receive your free shirt you must be at the registration table by 8:45 PM and must have your registration confirmation. Those who come after may not receive the size shirt they ordered. To save time, you can pick up your shirts early at the Dade Co Library Thursday, April 26th**
