About This Activity

Do you like to run? (Or unicycle?) Do you like to eat PIE? Then sign up today for the second annual Woodside Elementary Pie Run 5K!

A two-part fundraiser to benefit the Woodside Elementary Partnership, a group of parents and staff working together the support the school.

New for 2014: A wheel-measured 5K distance! Also, a Unicycle Division! For those of you unaware, Woodside Elementary has a robust unicycle and circus arts program. More than 100 students participate in the Woodside One Wheelers program. We've always had some unicyclers participate, but we thought it would be fun to formalize the division and time it too. We encourage the members of the Gym Dandies in Scarborough, ME to join us for this unique race.

Please note: Those individuals participating in the unicycle division are required to wear helmets and pad to compete. Thank you!

Event details and schedule

Bib pick up begins at 7:45 AM at Woodside Elementary School.

5K runners will start at 8:30 AM. Unicyclers will start approximately 5 minutes later.

The course is mostly flat and loops around the Woodside neighborhood. For those of you who have done this race before, we made some minor course modifications to be a true 5K distance. The race start and finish line have moved further down the Woodside driveway closer to the exit.

Please park in the Woodside Elementary parking lot and be aware of the course markings to avoid parking where you would disturb the competitors.

Thank you for participating and helping support the Woodside Elementary Partnership.
