About This Activity

The 71st Anniversary of D-Day is the perfect time to honor the soldiers who trained at Camp Toccoa and all veterans who jumped at Normandy on June 6, 1944. The 10K Run and Memorial Walk will take you in the footsteps of the 18,000 who trained on Currahee Mountain during WWII.

The “Jake and Jack Track” obstacle course is for children ages 12 and under to test their physical strength and speed. The course named in honor of two men from the “Filthy Thirteen”, aka “The Dirty Dozen”.
