Ticonderoga Triathlon Festival is in one of the most beautiful settings in the Adirondack Park. This hidden gem called Black Point Beach provides a perfect backdrop for this fun, challenging event.
Wilson Endurance Sports focuses on grassroots, athlete lefted racing and produces 27 events across NY State and 1 in Connecticut. Visit the website at www.CoachMarkWilson.com for a complete listing of events. A portion of your race fee will benefit the Ticonderoga Area Backpack Program.
Sprint Triathlon – 750 meter swim, 12 mile bike, 5K run.
Olympic Triathlon – 1500 meter swim, 24 mile bike, 10K run. 2 loops of the Sprint course for all 3 (swim, bike, run).
Saturday kicks off the festival with live music, food and fun for all ages with Sprint and Olympic distance Triathlons, Sprint and Olympic AquaBikes followed by a Kids Triathlon (11 & Under 100m swim, 3 mile bike, 1 mile run or ages 12 -17 200m swim, 6 mile bike, 1 mile run) . Individuals or relay teams will love the course layout with a start in the crystal clear waters of Lake George and then scenery rich courses for both the bike and the run hugging the shore lines of the lake.
Kids Triathlon Age group awards and wave starts as follows: 16 & 17yr old, 14 & 15, 12 & 13, 10 & 11, 8 & 9, 6 & 7, 5 & UNDER beginning at 2:30pm.
*Double Ti – Race the Sprint AND the Olympic Tri (all athletes must finish the Sprint that begins at 7:30am and be back to the start line for the 9:30am Olympic Tri).
Awards ceremony following each race with age group awards in 5 year increments.
Relay teams of 2 or 3 people are welcome to join in the fun for the Sprint and Olymic Triathlons.
*Relay teams cannot compete in the Double Ti or the Kids Triathlon.
This is a USAT sanctioned event, all rules and regulations apply. There is no refund for this event nor do we allow bib transfers. If necessary please contact us before race day and we may allow you to defer your registration to 2020 or to another Wilson Endurance Sports event. Race will be held rain or shine. All athletes must produce a valid USAT Annual Membership on race day along with photo ID or purchase a one-day license for $15 or $10 for Kids Annual Membership 17 & Under.
There will be race day registration available for $10 more than the final listed race fee.
THERE WILL BE NO PARKING AT RACE SITE. SPECTATORS, HANDICAPPED PARKING STICKERS, ATHLETES WILL ALL BE REQUIRED TO PARK OFF SITE AND TAKE THE SHUTTLE BUS. Bike drop off on Friday evening is encouraged with overnight security provided. There will be a shuttle bus provided race day running from 5am - 5pm. After the race is over - the shuttle bus will continue to run until after the Kids race. FOR EVERYONES SAFETY, INCLUDING YOUR OWN, THERE WILL BE NO VEHICLES PERMITTED NEAR THE RACE SITE AFTER 7:15AM. THIS WILL ALL BE EXPLAINED IN THE ATHLETE GUIDE AND SUBSEQUENT EMAILS.
