Event Day Checklist
Things you need to know about riding in the 2014 Salute to Heroes Charity Cycling Ride:
Please allow 30 minutes before the scheduled riding time to complete the registration process.
Parking – 2014 Salute to Heroes Charity Cycling Ride event participants are required to park in the designated “Event” parking area. Upon arrival, you will be directed to the designated area.
Registration opens at 6:30 am 41000 Main St, Temecula, Kickoff is at 7:00 am, and the first ride begins promptly at 7:15am. Be on your bike!
Please remember to bring your completed VSSN Charity Ride Waiver with you. This is REQUIRED to participate in the ride. Upon arrival, from will be collected a VSSN Charity Ride staff member in the lobby area. Please click here to download the form.
Pledge Packets - You will need to turn in your pledge packet and accompanying donations when you check in for the day.
Bike Assignments –We will not have scheduled bike assignments as of yet for this ride.
Breakfast - Start your day with us: more people, more power! A continental breakfast will be provided during the early morning hours, coffee (provided by Starbucks) will be available until 7:00 am.
Massages - The event includes complimentary mini-massages to Challenge participants throughout the day, beginning at 7:30 am. All tips collected will be donated to charity.
Water and cold beverages will be provided throughout the day.
Lunch - Challengers’ luncheon will be provided to participants riding between 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Temecula Stampede 28721 Old Town Front St, Temecula, CA 92590
Support your team! If your schedule allows, please stay to cheer on your friends and teammates for their rides!
We will be holding our Charity Prize Drawings at the evening Glow Fest event where all riders will be recognized and receive extra tickets plus VIP package riders will receive 2 tastings in the beer & wine garden per rider-- we have lots of awesome prizes for you to win!
Make sure you bring a few extra dollars to purchase a few chances to win when you return from 5-10pm to Old Town Town Square Park! 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales go to charity – so even if you don't win, the less fortunate will.
