About This Activity

This event is a family fun benefit 5k run/walk for Project TOUCH - a Temecula based non-profit org whose mission is to prevent homelessness in the Temecula Valley. Your participation will help keep the Cold Weather Shelter open for the 7th year to provide help for the Temecula and Murrieta homeless through the winter.

Everyone who registers will receive an opportunity drawing entry upon check-in - you can purchase more tickets - but at least everyone is entered to Win a Turkey! Prize Packs and more!

Event details and schedule

The course starts at the South end of Harveston Lake - Temecula at the amphitheater. The first 2.2 miles circle the outside of the community on Harveston Dr. When you get back to the amphitheater you'll take a beautiful run/walk around the actual lake with a short jog in the middle down to the sports park and back to the lake and around to the amphitheater wrapping up at 3.3 miles. Barely over a 5k.

Runners take off at 8am sharp! Walkers at 8:10a.

Restrooms surround the lake in 2 locations - we'll have at least 4 water stops along the route and plenty of volunteers to make sure everyone is having fun and safe!

Please fill out and bring your waiver to check-in along with your ID and an item from our needs list if you wish to save $5! We trust you if you registered for this!

Parking is available on the street, or in either lot on the south end near the amphitheater.
