About this event: This event is all about FUN! Take yourself back to the days when you went outside to have fun, and enjoyed some nice cool ice cream with CHOCOLATE sauce all over it! Come out and do something active and reward you, your family and friends at the end with a delicious CHOCOLATE SUNDAE at what is America's Coolest Race!
Timing and Scoring: This event is all about the chocolate and the fun! However we understand that folks also like to see their finish times. This event will ONLY score the top 10 men and women. However, all participants will have a timing chip on the back of your bib. Times will appear in overall results only.
Shirts: All pre-registered participants will receive a special event day moisture wicking tech tee. Gender specific sizing is available if you are pre-registered no later than JUNE 13. After June 13 all shirt sizes will be unisex.
Bling! This year we are offering a new custom finisher's medal. All registered participants will receive this at the finish line, as you walk over to get your cool and refreshing chocolate sundae!
Pre-event packet pick up: There will be one day of pre-event packet pick-up offered on Friday, July 17. Pre event pick up will be from noon to 6:30pm at Sports Authority, 11335 Causeway Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511. Packets will also be available to pick up the day of the event at the event site starting at 6:30am. You may have a family member or friend pick up for you if needed. No ID required.
Parking: There is more than enough parking at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Parking fees are $6 per vehicle so please be prepared for this fee at the gate when you arrive on event morning.
Restrictions: For safety reasons bicycles, skates, pets and any form of small motorized vehicles are not allowed on the race course. Baby joggers and strollers are welcome to paricipate, however must start at the back of the starting corral for safety reasons.
