About This Activity

Door's Dirty 5K Mud Run takes place at the Team Leadership Center, Wisconsin's only privately owned professional ropes course. The 5k spans 20 acres of woods, ponds, marshland, and natural scenic beauty with bountiful wildlife. The course is less than 5 miles from Lake Michigan and Whitefish Dunes State Park. It is also near the Jacksonport Memorial Day parades that take place on Saturday, May 23.
The obstacles test your strength and endurance as much as your sense of teamwork and mental focus. By being set on a ropes course, several initiatives and a high ropes element will be part of the run. With a fun play on the farm theme, you can only imagine what creativity has been put into testing participant's competitive drive. The best way to view the race will be utilizing Door County's Adventure Center's 3-spanned zip line tour that travels over 1500 feet. Zip lining and several other climbing elements will be free to participants and volunteers after the race, with a heavily discounted fee to spectactors.
All proceeds go to Help of Door County Inc. in support of families within the Door County community dealing with domestic violence.
