About This Activity
Come out for a morning of fun, exercise and the great feeling that you are helping children with cancer. Swim in the Atlantic Ocean, cycle and run or walk along Hutchinson Island to raise money to benefit the Sunshine Kids! Last year's event was a huge success with well over 150 participants and raising over $ 32,000 for the Sunshine Kids. Come challenge yourself this year and join the fun !

Whether seasoned athlete or novice the fourth annual Sunshine Sprint is an event designed for you! A warm up or practice before your big triathlon, fitness goal, or fun day in the sun. This sprint triathlon consists of a .25 mile swim in the Atlantic Ocean, a 9.5 mile bike ride from Stuart Beach up Ocean Boulevard and back south over the Ernest Lyons Bridge returning to the starting point, and a 3.1 mile walk or run from Stuart Beach along Hutchinson Island. Participate in all three legs yourself, or build a relay team of up to three athletes. Throw down the gauntlet to your family, co-workers, neighbors, friends and earn bragging rights for the year. Race Bags for the first 150 registered athletes.
Race begins at 7:20am.
What are the USA Triathlon Rules that must be followed during the race?
Helmets must be used at all times. Chin straps must be buckled at all times No headphones, headsets, walkmans, i-pods, mp3 players or personal audio devices are to be worn. Race numbers are required to be worn at all times and numbers must face the front. Wetsuits are permitted to be worn.
