About This Activity

Join us for the 2nd annual Race for the Cupcake! 5K on the "sugary" sands of Pass-a-Grille Beach, Florida! This race has been created by Jake Schultz, a local 6th grader hoping to make a difference in his community. Race ammenities include:

Commemorative T-shirt (Guaranteed if registered by March 13th)

Cupcake themed awards for the top male/female, top masters male/female.

3 deep male/female age group awards.

All finishers receive a free cupcake!

Adjacent to Hurley Park (16th Ave and Gulf way), this 3.1 mile course is out and back and takes place on the hard-packed area of sand near the water's edge. Metered parking available along Gulf Way.

Friday, March 21

5:00pm-7:00pm   Packet Pick up at Fit2Run St. Pete

Saturday, March 22

8:00am   5k race begins at Pass-a-grille beach

8:45am   Awards ceremony at Hurley Park, Pass-a-grille

The race will begin promptly at 8:00 am. Bibs and t-shirts will be available for pick up on Friday, from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Fit2Run, St. Pete, 256 2nd St N, and on race morning 6:00am-7:45am in Hurley Park, Pass-a-grille Beach. Please pick up your packet as early as possible to avoid missing the start of the race. Late registrations, AFTER MARCH 13TH, are not guaranteed a t-shirt, but we will do our best to accommodate with what we have left.
