About This Activity

In memory of our friend and colleague Dan Anderson, Sam’s Club is hosting “Heroes of Hope” a virtual walking challenge kicking off August 1 - August 22.
From August 1 - August 22, Sam’s Club encourages all associates to honor Dan and his courageous battle with cancer by participating in this month-long virtual walking challenge in partnership with the American Cancer Society. Dan lived near St. Louis but was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Teams representing each of the 600 Sam’s Club locations are charged with traversing 604 miles from the St. Louis Busch Stadium to PNC Park virtually alongside a team fundraising goal of 5 “Homeruns” = $5,000. Funds raised will go toward the fight against cancer.
