Fri, Oct 31, 2014
Spring Hill, FL
About This Activity
Undisputed Runs LLC is dedicated to promoting fitness and well being at all ages as well as fundraising. Each month we sponsor an event to promote fun activities for individual and family fitness, while also raising funds for charitable organizations. During the month of October, the owners of Undisputed Runs are sponsoring a special event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The American Cancer Society estimates in 2014 there will be:
About 62,570 new cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) of the breast will be found (CIS is non-invasive and is the earliest form of breast cancer).
About 232, 570 new cases of invasive breast cancer
About 40,000 deaths from breast cancer
cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer.
2000 men are diagnosed each year with breast cancer
Breast Cancer Awareness and Education is a personal issue for the owners of Undisputed Runs. With that, for every $10 raised for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, each owner will do 30 burpees. 100% of the dollars raised will be donated to NBCF.
Thank you for visiting our fundraising campaign. Please consider making a donation today in support of this special event or directly to the charity. Any amount is greatly appreciated! If you would like to form a team to join us in the Burpee Challenge, please do!! All registrations for this one time event will be donated.
Please note: In order to keep the expenses to zero, there will be no mailings, no ribbons, etc. Only a sincere request for contributions and a commitment from us to hold up our end of the bargain! We thank you in advance for your support; and watch our event page for the results of your donations!! We will keep a tally of burpees completed! Undisputed Runs LLC

Event details and schedule
The National Breast Cancer Foundations mission is to help women now by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services. To support our mission, we partner with medical facilities across the country to provide free mammograms and diagnostic breast care services to underserved women through the NBCF National Mammography Program. In addition, the NBCF National Mammography Program requires that medical facilities within our network have the capacity to continue treatment after an abnormal finding or diagnosis of breast cancer.
Breast cancer is one of the leading health crises for women in the United States. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. There is currently no known cure for breast cancer, and its early diagnosis is critical to survival. According to The National Cancer Institute (NCI), getting a high-quality mammogram and having a clinical breast exam on a regular basis are the most effective ways to detect breast cancer early. The National Cancer Institute recommends women age 40 and older receive annual mammogram screenings to provide early detection of breast cancer. However, with increased healthcare costs and a rapidly increasing percentage of uninsured women, many simply cannot afford the cost of screening tests. These women are at a significantly higher risk of dying from breast cancer if later diagnosed. That’s why NBCF provides free mammograms to women in all 50 states through our network of hospitals. They are now joining hands with people around the world to provide breast cancer education.
