About This Activity

The Inaugural Walk n Roll 5k/1k to benefit the MSAA consists of a 5k race, a 1k for kids and/or mobility challenged, as well as a virtual option for those out of town who want to support this worthy cause.

The 5k is an easy, out and back course on the beautiful Centennial trail, and the 1k will be held on the scenic park grounds of Mirabeau Meadows in Spokane valley, WA.

All proceeds, after expenses, will benefit the MSAA, who focuses on programs and services for individuals currently living with MS on a daily basis.

Event details and schedule

The 5k race will start at 9:00 am, and the 1k will start at 9:45 am on May 9 2015

We suggest you arrive 30-45 minutes before your start time.

Please register by April 26th if you want an event t-shirt! We will register people up to May8 here on Active, and also at the event on May9th.

Day of event registration will be at the tables under the pavillion in Mirabeau Park at the start of the 1k. The 5k will start across the street at the trailhead.

There is parking at Mirabeau Meadows, across the street at the trailhead, as well as the nearby Mirabeau Springs.

The Centennial Trail is open to the public, and you may expect to encounter other runners, cyclists, walkers, leashed dogs etc.

Please follow all rules for the Centennial Trial as found here.  Centennial Trail rules

Packet pickup date and times will be sent via e-mail, and posted on the website, and Facebook pages.

You will need to present photo ID, and sign the waiver to receive your race bib, and participate in the event.

Please dress appropriately, as the weather in the Spokane can easily start cool/cold in early May, and be quite warm later on.
