About This Activity

Join us on June 03, 2017 for the Run for Life 5K Run/Walk at North Strabane Park!

The Run for Life is made possible by our group of supporters who lead and inspire others to rescue children and serve families. Your participation in this year's 5K run/walk will make a significant impact in the lives of abortion-determined women and families in the South Hills, and help us expand into the South Side. Our goal is to raise $50,000 through the run/walk participants.

Human Coalition:

With the introduction of Human Coalition, people are curious about the evolution from the Online for Life brand. As we've worked to rescue pre-born babies, serve their families, and end abortion in America, our work has become more comprehensive. As a result, we have outgrown our name. The initial business plan was Internet lead generation for pregnancy lefts. However, over the years, our work to end abortion has demanded an expansion of our organization to encompass a wider range of abortion-ending solutions. We needed a name universal enough to reflect the fact that ending abortion is a sweeping, diversified mission. Human Coalition expresses this undertaking through a call left, women's care clinics, church engagement and so much more.

Human Coalition recognizes the beauty, uniqueness, rights, value, and transcendence of every person - born and pre-born. As such, we have committed ourselves to the goal of rescuing children, serving families, and ending abortion in our lifetime. To that end, since 2010, Human Coalition has rescued over 4,000 babies. And with a national and international reach into more than forty-five countries, we have attracted over one million Facebook "fans."

CURO Women's Care Clinic:

We provide tangible support for women and their families before (preventative), during (urgent), and after the crisis (continuum of care).

  • Preventative Care: the timeframe before a woman or family enters into a crisis pregnancy situation. Connecting with the client prior to a potential crisis allows us to build a relationship, educate, and establish trust as a medical and educational provider. We accomplish this through sexual risk avoidance, education, and STI testing and treatment.
  • Urgent Care: the engagement with a client who is in the middle of a crisis pregnancy situation. We reach out to clients in crisis, provide them the option to engage with us, and link arms with them in order to guide them to a life decision.
  • Continuum of Care: helping clients make the transition from expectant parents to parenting and coordinating church partnerships to provide the care and community that women and families need long-term.

Though CURO Women's Care Clinics have been performing these services for some time, we are formalizing and enhancing our services.

Human Coalition operates Curo Women’s Care Clinic of Pittsburgh, formerly known as the Pregnancy Resource Center of the South Hills. Proceeds support the local activity here in Pittsburgh.
