About This Activity

The Fun Mutt SLC is a 2+ Mile obstacle fun run. You and your leashed dog will have a blast while jumping over various styles of hurdles, scaling obstacles, crawling through tunnels, tip toeing over balance beams, and more. All Individual Registrations and Kids 11-17 Registration will receive a free T-shirt, Drawstring Bag, Bandana, and more (Kids 5-10 registration does not include T-shirt, bag,or bandana, but can be purchased during registration). There will be water and aid stations at event start, throughout the course, and at event finish.

Event will start at 9 am. You will want to arrive 30+ minutes before start time. Course will close at 12 pm. There will be 2 packet pick up times. The first packet pick up will be on Thursday, June 4th, at Bicentennial Park in Provo. 1419 S 1470 E. Pick up time will be from 5 pm - 7 pm. There will also be a packet pick up on Friday, June 5th, at Kudos 2 Canines in SLC. 3330 S 300 E in Salt Lake City from 6 pm - 8 pm.

Portions of proceeds will be donated to Rescue Rovers and the National Canine Cancer Foundation.

Additional rules and info:

  1. Keep dogs on leashes at all times while on Event premises: Including, before the event, during the event, and after the event.
  2. Leashes can have a maximum length of 6 feet.
  3. Retractable leashes are prohibited.
  4. Participants may walk with a maximum of 1 dog per participant for the safety of  the dog and others.
  5. It is the participants' responsibility to securely fasten the leash to both yourself and your dog.
  6. Tighten your dogs collar so the collar cannot slip off your dog's head.
  7. Clean up after your pet. Carry waste bags with you at all times. Waste bags will also be provided at events, but it is the responsibility of the pet owner to pick up defecation from your pet and place it in a trash removal container.
  8. All participants must wear their bib during the race with the number clearly visible.
  9. All dogs must wear the bandana provided at all times while on the event premises.
  10. All participants must follow the course directions during the race. If a participant wants or needs to get off the course, exit the course from the sides. Do not go backwards through the course.
  11. It is the participant's responsibility to control all actions, including aggression, of your dog at all times while on the Event premises.
  12. Mutt Mudders, and Mutt Mudders staff and volunteers, reserve the right to remove any participant and/or dog, from the Event premises, for any reason, at our discretion.
  13. Mutt Mudders, and Mutt Mudders staff and volunteers, reserve the right to use physical force and objects (training whips, training sticks), to discipline, control, or break up any unwanted actions of any dog, while on the Event premises, at our discretion.
  14. Littering is prohibited. Participants may be removed from the Event premises for littering. The Event site must stay clean for the safety of the dogs and others. We take this very seriously.
  15. There will be no refunds or exchanges given.
