About This Activity
We are a fun, family-oriented 5K with a twist! Mud and obstacles! We have 15+ obstacles that range from a cow-patty mine field to muddy water pits!!!
Remember it's not only to have fun but to raise money for a great cause! The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life

The race course is 3.1mi (5K) through the natural terrain of Sour Lake, TX. There are natural obstacles as well as man-made obstacles. Be prepared for ANYTHING! A course map will be available on our website as well as in your race packets on race day.
Because this type of race makes it hard to give place medals we do give finisher medals. So hang in there, you can make it! AND if you stick around you may get a DOOR PRIZE!!!
There will be a waiver to sign for the Mud Farm when you first arrive. This is a separate waiver from the online waiver. After signing-in find your parking in a field to the right of the race course. It is a field so please be prepared in case of rainy weather and plan accordingly.
What to bring/What to wear
Please bring a change of clothes or towel to ride home with. You will leave dirty, unless you just don't want to have fun ;-) There is a rinse-off station and port-a-potties, but no official changing area.
No special clothes are required to run in the event but there is a COSTUME CONTEST if you or your team would like to participate. Prizes will be given at the end of the race! It's always best to wear older shoes you don't mind losing or ruining. There will be duct tape provided at the beginning of the race to try and help save your shoes from falling off.
We have race bibs but sometimes these fall off, PLEASE WRITE YOUR BIB NUMBER ON your arm,leg SOMEWHERE EASILY SEEN. We do try to catch everyone's number as the cross the finish-line so you have a chance to know your standings.
Spectators are welcome!!! Please try to stay off of race track. Some of the track may not be as obvious as other portions...if you have any questions please ask staff. And above all else remember to cheer on the muddy, crazy people running/walking/skipping by!!!
