About This Activity
SWIM COURSE (400 yards) • The pool length is 25 yards • Racers will complete 8 down and back laps • Lane assistants will be available to count lanes and assist timing captain
TRANSITION: There will be a single transition area. You will exit the pool area, walk down a hallway and enter the transition area. There will be a bike exit and entrance and a run exit.
BIKE COURSE (13 miles) Please take note that when you leave the transition area you will be headed down a slight hill. You will turn left at the end of the parking lot. PLEASE USE CAUTION AND DO NOT HEAD OUT OF TRANSITION AT FULL SPEED. You will encounter a speed bump right after your turn. It is possible to go through the middle and around on each side of the speed bump. The course will flow down a trail path and out onto the main roads through and outside of town with rolling hills and beautiful scenery. You will encounter the speed bump and 90 degree turn when you return to the Transition area.
RUN COURSE (2 miles) The run initially follows the same course as the bike route until you reach the end of Valley Drive (which travels through the JBU Campus). At the end of Valley Drive, bicyclist go left and runners to right where you will follow the signs making a loop of the JBU campus to the finish line! Please note there is a fairly steep hill on University Street mid way through the run course. During the run course, you will stay mostly on sidewalks and the Dogwood Springs Walking Trail.
DIRECTIONS & PARKING • JBU Lifetime Walton Health Complex 1237 Valley Drive Siloam Springs, AR US 72761 • Parking will be directly in front of and slightly down hill from the Lifetime Walton Health Complex.
PACKET PICKUP • Friday from 5-7 PM Phat Tire Bike Shop 101 S Broadway St Siloam Springs, AR 72761 • Saturday from 6:00-6:30 AM Walton Lifetime Health Complex 1237 Valley Drive, at the Check-In Desk

CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: • Check-in between 6:00-7:15 AM. • Sign Waiver if not done so during registration • Get marked, wet pins will be available to write race numbers on arms and legs • Place your bike and items in the transition area
TIMING: Provided by Web Scorer. • It is important that your bib number be visible to our timing team. You will be provided with skin markers, helmet stickers, bike attachment and bib. If your bib number is not visible, we can not mark your timing accurately. • There will be 5 Timing Points along the race: Swim Completion: marked as you tap the end of the pool on your 8th lap (down and back is considered a lap). Transition 1: marked when you leave the transition area for your bike ride. Bike Completion: marked as you arrive back in to the transition area. Transition 2: marked as you depart for the run portion of the race. Run/Finish: marked as you cross the finish line at the end of your run.
TIME LIMITS: We have no time limits for this race.
