Families Helping Families Region 7 is a local 501 c3 family directed resource left for individuals with disabilities and their families. We serve the parishes of Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, Desoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, and Webster.
Our mission is to provide information, referral, and peer to peer support to individuals with disabilities or special needs and their families. We are a group of families who, through our own experiences, promote peer support and advocacy and are committed to alleviating hardships of other families who have members with disabilities or special needs.
Caring for individuals with a disability takes a wealth of support, knowledge and information, and connecting with others who have similar experiences gives families first-hand information and encouragement. We are passionate about providing activities that promote inclusive participation within the community. In order to host such an event we need the support of our community. Together we are changing lives and building a stronger community for all.
