1 Mile Walk - Wave 1
1 Mile Walk - Wave 2
About This Activity
Be a part of the 3rd annual Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk presented by WLKN-Lake 98.1! Take steps against hunger through Making Spirits Bright's drive-through holiday lights show in Evergreen Park prior to its opening to the public. The first 500 people who register for the run, or either walk wave, will be given special goodie bags full of local goodies. Stop by "Santa's Workshop" tent next to the Quarryview Center for family-friendly activities and refreshments and then join us for the after party and award ceremony down the road at 3 Sheeps Brewing! For every pint of beer purchased that evening, 3 Sheeps will donate $1.
Did you know that 11,000 of our neighbors in Sheboygan County struggle with hunger? All money raised by this event goes to Sheboygan County Food Bank (SCFB). SCFB purchases, accepts and safely stores food locally at its 10,000-square foot warehouse. SCFB then works swiftly to deliver food to 16 food pantries and other partner agencies, at no cost, to ensure that 3,000 families don't go hungry. Learn more.
*In the unfortunate circumstance that we would have to cancel this event due to extreme weather, participants and volunteers will be notified by 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 23 via the email that you used to register for this event. The same notification will be made on this page and Sheboygan County Food Bank's Facebook page by 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 23. Please note that we cannot issue refunds to participants — thank you for understanding.
