About This Activity

This is Race 3 of the 3-Race Series. (Race 1 is Saturday, April 23rd, and Race 2 is Saturday, May 14th) Register for one or all 3 races.

Do all 3 events in the series and watch your time and fitness improve.

Race or walk in a beatiful park on a great trail that is easy to run on. The trail is mostly compact, generally flat (as trails go) with very small and gradual ups and downs. There are no steep dips or wierd divots on this trail. You can look forward to easy foot placement. The 1.5 mile course (perfect for kids and novice runners) is one loop around the park, the 5k is 2 loops, and the 10k is 4 loops.

Medals to Top-3 Overall and 1st in each age group in 10-year increments. All kids 12 and under win a finisher's medal at awards ceremony.

Chip timed.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on Dave's Organic bread will be provided along with fruit, chocolate milk, coconut water, and coffee post-race.

Everyone who pre-registers for the 5k or 10k in the 3-Race Series will be eligible for the Most Improved Award. Awards will be given based on total time improved to one individual in the 5k and one individual in the 10k. Winners will receive a $100 gift certificate to their favorite running store, free entry into the Fall Alki Beach Series, and a whicking shirt from the Seattle Run Series.
