About This Activity

Celebrate Lunar New Years with a morning on the move with lion dance and firecrackers to get you warmed up! 

Run or walk an easy, mostly flat 5k course on the Interurban Trail. All runners and walkers of any age are welcome! This is a charity run/walk to help raise funds for affordable healthcare services for ICHS patients in our community. All participants will receive a t-shirt and delicious post race snacks.

**Update** - Registration has now closed!! Thank you everyone who has signed up. There is still the opportunity to register on site on Sunday Feb 23 2020 at Shoreline City Hall. Same Day registration is $50 and begins at 8:30am.

About Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year is a celebration of the arrival of spring and traditions embodying time with family, good health, and good fortune. 

2020 is the Year of the Rat which according to folktale, is the 'first' of the twelve zodiac animals and the winner of the zodiac animal race. What a perfect year to join for the Lunar New Year 5k!   


Who Are We?

The International Community Health Services (ICHS) is a non-profit medical left serving 11 different sites in King County providing culturally competent services in more than 50 languages. The clinic was created in 1973 from community activists who were committed in providing access to quality healthcare for all.
