I Can And I Will Run

About This Activity
I can. And, I will. Even during the pandemic.
Covid-19 has caused all of us to change course in so many ways. Our daily lives are much different than they were last spring, almost unbelievably so.
However, Olivia Vitello’s weekly infusions have not stopped. Neither has Seattle Children’s Hospital. Seattle Children’s work continues during the pandemic - kids still need complex medical care. The hospital remains committed to providing that care for patients regardless of their family’s ability to pay. I remain committed to fundraising to support their efforts.
That's why the I Can and I Will Run is going virtual. And it will be GREAT! You can attend the virtual kickoff and run on race day in your neighborhood or if your schedule has changed, feel free to run when you want, where you want! Remember that every step you take will make a difference in the lives of families who are facing difficult diagnoses and financial hardship.
The race will kick off on Sunday, October 18th at 9am and will conclude on Sunday, October 25th. If you have not already signed up for the inaugural race dedicated to Liv's unwavering spirit, you can do it today and get training!
Thank you for your participation and help. You are ensuring that families can focus on their child's wellbeing; not the medical bill in their mailbox.
Here are a few more ways to show your support!
Document your experience on social media using the #icanandiwillrun
Download a race bib and show your community why you’re running
Wear your I Can and I Will Run swag - all proceeds from the merch will go to the fund!
Invite friends to join you in your socially but physically distant run!
Get yourself pumped up by joining us for a virtual kick off on Sunday Oct. 18th at 9am to hear more about The I Can And I Will Guild and how Seattle Children’s Hospital is working to help families in our community - we promise to make it more fun than your average zoom call!
100% of race net proceeds from this fun run will benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s Hospital, which provides medical care to children in our region regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
